Non solo dobbiamo imparare bene il Buddismo e le recite, ma dobbiamo anche proteggere e sostenere il Saddharma, per consentire la continuità del Saddharma in modo che tutti abbiano l'opportunità di ascoltare e imparare il Dharma. Se pensiamo veramente in questo modo, di conseguenza agiamo veramente con la parola pura e immacolata nella nostra vita quotidiana, la nostra natura di Buddha sarà restaurata e la nostra vera causa sarà risvegliata dalla natura di Buddha che è nei nostri cuori.

Not only do we have to learn Buddhism & recitals well, we also have to protect and uphold the Saddharma, to enable the continuity of the Saddharma so that everyone will have the opportunity to hear of and learn the Dharma. If we truly think in this manner, truly act accordingly with pure and untainted speech in our daily lives, our Buddha-nature will be restored and our true cause will be roused from the Buddha-nature that is within our hearts. 

我们不仅自己要学好佛、念好佛，还要护持正法，令正法久住，让每个人都有听闻学习佛法的机会。如果我们的心真能够这样，我们的行为真能够如是，我们的言语真能够每天清净无染，那我们的佛性就能恢复了，我们的正因就会令我们内心的佛性苏醒过来。
