放生——祈愿天下善知识法体健康
善知识住世则佛法住世,众生就有希望。放生的缘起就是令诸佛欢喜,天地善神们欢喜。在这个世间,最感人的一个就是救命这个行为。以这种缘起,这种善缘来回向我们善知识身体健康。做药供也是祈祷天下善知识法体健康,让所有天地间的善神能够身体健康有力,护持正法。能够让可怜的众生,并不知道自己在做什么的这些众生,让他们能够有机会觉悟。
Where there are Buddhist wise masters, the Dharma will exist in the world; and there are hopes for sentient beings. The activity of releasing the living animals from dining-tables originates fromthe intention to please all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good devas. Looking around different kinds of human behaviours, the most touching one may be to save lives, which we therefore should do to bless all the Buddhist wisemastersto have good health, based on the good origination and intention. Also, the medicine-offering is to wish all the Buddhist wise masters and good devas with health and fitness so as to better protect the truth, correctness and purity of the Dharma. Those pitiful sentient beings who actually do not know what they have done are able to obtain the chances to liberate themselves.
心地要光明
别想着有人在害你,那个想法不好,想法比较阴暗,心地要光明一点。要想普天下没有我不爱的人,普天下没有害我的人,要这样想。要把天下都看成是极乐世界,要这样想。所有看到不好的,你要想这是我的业障,我无量劫来的业障。看到不好的,听到不好的,遇到不好的,回过头来忏悔自己的业障,这就是修行的状态。
Don’t always think that someone harms you! That’s not a good idea. That idea is negative and sunless, our mind should be brighter. Try to think that thereare nobody that I don’t love in the world, nobody wants to harm me in the world and it’s a world of ultimate joy. We should cultivate our mind to think like this. When you see something bad, you should think that it is your own evil karma which have been built up for boundless kalpa. No matter what kind of bad things you have seen, heard or encountered, you should confess your own evil karma. And this is the mind state which should be maintained by a Buddhist practitioner.
