一切依报不离正报,所以度众生就是为了度自己。

我们佛教的术语就说,外在世界的一切都是我们如来藏的显现,这个理论性很高的了,但是外在一切的众生都不离你自性,我是正报、他是依报,一切依报不离正报,所以度众生就是为了度自己。
你想成佛,不度众生能不能成佛?不能成佛。度众生是你成佛道的必由之路,一切佛果不离众生,一切菩提不离众生。离了众生还有没有佛道可以成?没有的。

We have this term in Buddhism which describes all external worldly circumstances as the emanations of our Tathagatagarbha. Theoretically, this is high, however, all external sentient beings are inseparable from your innate disposition. I am the direct result of karma from my past while he will then form the dependent condition or environment. All dependent conditions are inseparable from the direct result of karma. Thus, liberating sentient beings from sufferings is just for liberating yourself.
You wish to become a Buddha. Can you become a Buddha if you do not liberate sentient beings from sufferings? No, you can’t. Liberating sentient beings from sufferings is the only way for you to become a Buddha. Buddha-hood is inseparable from sentient beings, and Bodhi is also inseparable from sentient beings. Can one still attain the Way of the Buddha if there is separation from sentient beings? No, not possible.
