Buddhism is an important part of Chinese culture with most Chinese people attending a Buddhist temple to worship at some point in their lives. The Goddess of Mercy is one of the best name figures in the religion with many believers in China. Now one of the country’s foremost scholars， dharma master Chuanxi has published a new book： Eternal Amrita, recounting his experiences during the SARS crisis in China in 2003. Chuanxi has been a monk for more than 20 years, studying and promoting Buddhism culture. During the crisis he held seminars about the Goddess of Mercy’s wisdom to comfort those in pain. The book is based on his seminar to audience.

　　佛教在中国文化里占有重要位置，很多的中国人在他们的一生都去寺院参拜过。大慈大悲观世音菩萨是佛教里家喻户晓大家所耳熟能详的名字，祂在中国拥有广大的信仰者。现在中国的传喜法师出版了祂的新书《永恒的甘露》，书中列举了祂在2003年非典期间很多的经历。传喜法师出家有20多年了，祂一直在研究和传播佛教文化。在非典期间，祂举行了观音法会来抚慰那些承受病苦煎熬的人们。这本书的内容是根据祂对信众的开示整理的。

The power of Goddess of Mercy can teach people to have positive attitude to their lives and can bring peace to people. Chuanxi hopes the book will help more people get peace of mind and have more positive attitude towards life. The book is also the first religious book to use MPR technology which can link it to other audio/video file.

　　大慈大悲观世音菩萨能够教导人们用积极的态度去面对人生,同时也能够带给人们祥和。传喜法师希望这本书能帮助更多的人获得心灵的安宁，同时拥有对待生命更积极的态度。这是宗教界第一本运用多媒体印刷技术的书，这项技术可以把本书和其他音频视频文件链接起来。
