上苍忽降暴雨，太阳隐入乌云后，我们正面临着黑暗时刻。

Sudden torrential downpour descended from the overcast sky as the sun faded into the ominous and black clouds. It is time for us to face the darkness now.

Italy is currently the worst-hit overseas country of the pandemic.  As of 30th Mar 2020, more than 92,000 people in Italy are infected, with a death toll surpassing 10,000. The number of death cases has far surpassed other countries.

When the awakened mind rises from the earth to the sky, all things shall be revived, the world will be basking in the warmth of the sun.

戒杀吃素，如果人类对生命有这样一种平等的认知，我想当这种正义的心生起的时候，觉醒的时候，他的正能量，他的免疫力自然就提高了。

Refrain from killing and be a vegetarian. If mankind has the cognition of equality towards all forms of lives, I believe, as the righteous heart rises, during the time of awakening, one’s positive energy and immunity will naturally raise.

此时，我们将明白耶稣为何头戴荆棘冠、背负十字架，承担人类所有的苦难。

Now, we understand why Jesus wore the woven crown of thorns on his head, the meaning of His crucifixion on the cross, shouldering the sufferings.

这份伟大的精神是荣誉的后盾，是不朽的支柱和希望！

This great spirit is the support of honor; it is the eternal pillar of strength and hope. 

“无缘大慈，同体大悲”，“寻声救苦，慈悲济世”。在这特殊时期，我们为意大利送上诚挚的祈愿。

“Extend great sympathy to all; extend great compassion to all, seeing all as part of self” and“Seek the voices of those in sufferings; deliver them from all sufferings, helping this world compassionately.” During this difficult period, we extend our best wishes to Italy with sincerity.

愿将精进修行的功德，回向给疫情地区的人民。

We are extending the merits of our diligent practice to all affected beings of this pandemic.

至诚祈愿三宝加被，灾疫消除，国泰民安；生者健康安宁，病者早日康复，逝者往生极乐；祈愿全球人民早日脱离疫难之苦。

Praying for blessings of the Triple Gem with utmost sincerity, may all disasters and pandemic be dispelled, may all counties and citizens be safe and well; may the living be healthy and peaceful, may the sick recover soon, may the departed be reborn into the Pure Land. Wish for everyone on earth to be free from the sufferings of this pandemic as soon as possible. 

愿你和平、安宁、喜乐、身心光明

May you be peaceful, calm and joyous, 

emitting radiant light from within your body and mind. 

愿你平安，远离疾病、恐惧和忧虑

May you be safe away from virus, fear and worries. 

愿你觉悟的花园百花齐放，与天地同德，与万物相合

May flowers blossom in your garden of Awakening, 

sharing the same virtues with Heaven and Earth, unifying self with all.
