燭光，照见
莲花奉献
去年的月明
昨天的陽光
Candlelight witnesses
the offerings of lotus,
last year’s moonlight
and yesterday’s sunshine.
思念您啊
父母祖尚
懷念您啊
英雄兒郎
Missing you so much,
my parents and all ancestors.
Yearning for you,
my heroic sons.
滄海也曾是清泉雨露
鴻雁也曾踏雪聲揚
子女是您愛的流淌
我們的幸福是您溫暖的胸膛
The boundless sea was once fountains and rain.
Swan geese once sang out upon the snow.
Children are
your flow of love.
Our happiness is
the warmth of your heart.
思念 是這世界的香火
願您 看到光 成為光
生的永恆 終歸永恆
昇向高維 往生樂邦
看到今天 照見一切
Remembrance is
the incense of this world.
May you see the light
and be the light.
Eternity of life
will eventually be immortal.
Rising towards high-level dimension, being reborn
into the Land of Bliss,
looking upon today and yet comprehending everything.
佛是光 無限之光
念佛即身壽無量
願一切如母眾生
棲神安養
照臨此土撫哀傷
Buddha is the light, the infinite light.
Chanting Buddha’s name can gain immeasurable longevity.
May all motherly sentient beings live peacefully
with Buddha’s light shining on this land to soothe the sorrow and depression.
