打开经典，就与佛同在

Upon Opening the Sacred Scriptures, We Are in the Presence of the Buddha

打开经典，

As we open the scriptures,

一时佛在，

it is as if the Buddha is present with us.

入佛法藏，

Immersing ourselves in the Buddha's teachings,

顿然我们心胸开阔、智慧明朗。

our minds broaden and we experience sudden enlightenment, as our wisdom is illuminated.

通过诵经，

Through the recitation of the sutras,

迎请佛陀进入我们这个时代，

we invite the Buddha into our present time,

入众生心、入家庭中，

into the hearts of all sentient beings, into our homes,

吉祥遍布社会。

spreading auspiciousness throughout society.

祈请佛陀广大的悲愿，

We beseech the Buddha's vast and compassionate vow,

加被每个国家，

to bestow grace upon every nation,

加被每个家庭，

upon every household,

加被每个人。

And upon every individual.

愿世界吉祥和平，

May the world be filled with peace and harmony,

愿众生幸福安康。

and may all sentient beings experience happiness and well-being.
