放生是在放自己Releasing Captured Animals Equals Freeing Ourselves

放生鱼，其实是放给人看的，别管鱼能成活多少，这种善行让这个社会知道，我们尊重生命、保护生命，救生命于涂炭，这是人的品行啊。不能因为放下去存活率很低，就放弃了我们人的这种尊贵的品行。我们教育人要善良，人心善了，战争哪里还会有？看看是放生，其实是在放自己，放生是在救世界啊。戒杀，放生，吃素，这样的人有资格念佛。

The reason why we release fish is that we want

to let people see it’s a good deed, which shows the

society that we cherish life, protect life and rescue life from misery and suffering, no matter how many fishes survive. This is the moral character of human beings. We should not give up this noble behavior only because of low survival rate of the animals we have released. When our heart is full of kindness, war will

not occur.That’s why we persuade people to be kind. Therefore, releasing captured animals is indeed freeing ourselves and saving this world. In a word,stopping killing, releasing captured animals and being a vegetarian willmake people qualified for chanting the name of Buddha.
