佛教中的克隆 Cloning in Buddhism

　　我们听相声里说绕口令“吃葡萄不吐葡萄皮”，现在真的是这样了，这个就是美国人造出的转基因产品。以人类现有的智慧，要什么样就能把它造成什么样，现在克隆羊，克隆牛，但它仅仅是科技的产物，它不具有社会效应，因为它违反道德，而且还有更多看不见的不良因素在里面。我们今天坐在这儿干什么？我们也在搞生命科学，我们也在克隆，戒是佛的身体，我们把佛陀八条戒香功德取下来，放在我们的心灵的试管里，然后我们就克隆出佛来，克隆出圣者的解脱来。这个已有效地在世间克隆了两千多年了，一批一批的凡夫因持戒而沾了解脱的份。我们今天坐在这里受持八关斋戒，产生了什么样的生命效应呢？等以后到了极乐世界你就知道了：哦！原来我生命的转折点是在娑婆世界皈依三宝，受持戒律，就是这样转凡成圣的。

We have all heard the tongue-twister“Eating grapes without spitting the skin” from the crosstalk, which has come true, for American has produced the genetically modified food. People now have the ability to create whatever they want to, such as cloned sheep and cloned cows, but it doesn’t’t have a social appeal, for it not only violates the morality but also involves a lot of invisible adverse elements. What are we sitting here for today? We are also devoting ourselves to life sciences and to cloning. Discipline is Buddha’s body. If we take merits and virtues from Buddha’s eight disciplines and put it in our spiritual test tube, then we will clone the Buddha-- the Way of Saint’s Nirvana. This cloning has been inherited for more than 2000 years in the world and ordinary people have been enlightened by observing disciplines one after another. Today we are undertaking the Eight Precepts and what kind of effect will take place on our lives? You don’t know about it until you arrive at the Pure Land in the future: Well, I shall suddenly realize that the turning point in my life is taking refuge in the the Three Jewels and observing disciplines when I was in the Saha World. It is in this way that an ordinary person becomes a Saint.
