我们的生命就如水流。感知到心如水流的时候,就如同《金刚经》所说,“应无所住而生其心”。你一住,住就过去了,一住就变成过去了,一过去就是已经过去了,所以叫”过去心不可得”。一住就变过去了,未现前的也不能攀缘,所以又说”未来心不可得”。那当下呢?你一说当下,它又变成过去了。所以“现在心不可得”。从流水上来解释,你只要一住,那个水还有当下吗?你取不到那个当下的。所以就不着于过去、不着于未来、不着于当下。
Our life is like flowing water. That is why the Vajra Sutra reads: “We should not allow a thought that comes from attachment to arise”. While we try to rest our mind on something, the past is gone, the present has become the past, and the future can’t be reached, that’s why it is said that “ none of the mind of the past, present or future can be grasped.” With regards to flowing water, can we fix this flow at any specific moment? Of course we can’t. There is essentially no possible grasp of the past, present or future.
我们只能靠心进入无量光无量寿,只要心有一点障碍,我们就进入不了,这是需要慢慢地训练的。这个世间的一切,我们既生活在其中,又要看破它。如果没有这种警觉,当下仍是迷惑,内心仍旧牵缠,这个生命就是虚幻的种子,脱不开这些色、受、想、行、识五蕴,就会不停地制造下一个业力。
We can only reach a state of infinite light and infinite longevity with our heart. This is not possible as long as there are traces of obstacles in our mind, and it requires long-term training. Although we are inevitably in contact with various things in this world at all times, we should see clearly the void nature behind all these phenomena. Without this kind of vigilance, we become lost in confusion and gather a lot of attachments. Without detaching ourselves from all five skandhas - form, sensation, perception, mental formations and consciousness – we will keep generating negative karma.
