心灵下午茶：英文时分

　　1.天地间如果没有圣贤文化，我们人跟其他的生命有什么不同呢？人之所以为人，因为人往高处走，人有向上之心。

　　Without the teaching of sages in this world, what is the difference between man and other sentient beings? A man is called a man because he has drive to make progress and improve himself.

　　2.学佛的目的就是为了超越六道轮回，超越生老病死，改变我们凡夫的命运。

　　The purpose of practicing Buddhism is to surpass the six ways of rebirth and change our fate as ordinary people.

　　3.什么叫僧呢？清净和合，不扰乱自己，不扰乱他人。一个人能活到六根清净，能活到六根不乱，能活到内外无染，这就是僧宝。

　　What is Sangha? Be pure and harmonious, disturbing neither himself nor others. If one can achieve the state of purity and steadiness of six sense-organs, and be pure both internally and externally, he can be regarded as a member of Sangha.

　　4.“佛法僧”三宝，是我们人间的三宝，是四生六道的三宝，是我们学习的对象。要在我们生命当中体现出这“三宝”来。佛是圆满的人，法是达成圆满的人的方法，僧是我们的模范，领导者，告诉我们什么是法，怎么样实践。

　　The Three Jewels, namely the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, are three jewels of human world, and jewels of sentient beings from the four modes of birth and six ways of rebirth as well.The Three Jewels are the target for us to learn, and we should demonstrate the value of them in our lives. Among the Three Jewels, the Buddha is a perfect person; Dharma is the way to achieve perfection; and Sangha are the models and leaders for us and tell us what Dharma is, and what practice of Buddhism is.

　　5.学佛就是向命运挑战，改变命运。所以学佛是最积极的人生。所以学佛修行的人是勇士，是大丈夫。学佛乃大丈夫之行为。

　　Practice Buddhism is to challenge and change our fate. Therefore, the life of practice of Buddhism is the most positive life; and the person who practices Buddhism is a hero and a real man. After all, the practice of Buddhism is the conduct of a real man.
