这次刚刚圆满了一个多月的弘法和朝圣, 回到慧日寺已经是小年了.我们各地的信徒, 各个流通点传播佛法的义工菩萨, 大家新年好!
Upon my return to Hui Ri Monastery after the completion of more than a month of Dharma propagating activities and pilgrimage, it is already nearing the Chinese New Year.
To our followers from all places, and the Bodhisattva volunteers from each and every one of the Dharma centres, Happy NewYear to all of you!
鸡年在我们佛教里, 也预祝一种预示一种吉祥, 也是预示着遣除修行的违缘. 我的师父就属鸡,法王如意宝也属鸡,这是非常具之有吉庆的
According to Buddhism, the year of the Rooster is also one which signifies auspiciousness and augurs the eradication of conditions unfavourable to our practice. My master was born in the year of the Rooster, and so was the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Dharma King (Jigme Phuntsok). This is exceptional and should be celebrated auspiciously.
这一年, 我们怎样用佛法来庄严人生用生命去实践佛陀的教导? 将时间, 将我们的生活变成道场, 让我们在新的一年能够种下更多的善根,能够发下更多的善愿, 能够踏在菩提道上积累更多的福德资粮.
In the coming year, how are we to dignify our lives with Buddhism and put into practice the Buddha’s teachings? We should spend the time to transform our daily lives into our Bodhimanda(ground of practice), so that we are able to plant more wholesome roots and evoke more wholesome aspirations. These will add to the accumulation of our merits and virtues along the Bodhi Path.
