这么庄严的相好怎么修来的？
我们看到佛像这么庄严，是有祂的真实义的。为什么头发是旋的?因为佛陀生生世世以来随顺众生。为什么佛的 眼睛是牛王眼?这么美，因为佛陀生生世世慈眼视众生。为什么佛的鼻子那么直、那么挺? 因为佛陀生生世世都不虚伪。
The magnificent appearance of Buddha Shakyamuni was not purely a product of chance. His hair is a collection of tightly twisted spiralling curls because he lived in harmony with all sentient beings over his previous lives; his eyelashes are like those of a royal bull and his eyes are beautiful because he looked at all sentient beings with kindness over his previous lives; his nose is protruding and well-proportioned because he was upright and honest during his previous lives.
百福成相好
BUDDHA
为什么佛的牙齿有四十颗，牙齿还会放光，这因为佛陀生生世世都说真实语。为什么佛陀的舌头吃一切东西都得上味，说一切法都是法中上乘，因为佛陀生生世世称赞如来。佛陀的每一相里都包含了无量劫的功德在里面，所以叫百福成相好。
he has forty unblemished and shiny teeth because he said only true words during his previous lives; his saliva can improve the taste of all food and he gives wonderful teachings because he praised other Buddhas over his previous lives.
每一相里都含有百福，每一福是怎么修来的，都有表法含义的。佛像如果没有这些含义，我们就变成偶像崇拜了。正因为佛陀的相是有表法含义的，从头到脚，每一相都含藏无量功德，所以我们绝不是偶像崇拜。在这个宇宙里，佛是代表着福慧两足尊，也就是说佛陀的 福报，智慧全部达到最圆满的状态。
Every characteristic of the Buddha results from the boundless virtues cultivated over countless past eons. This is why the Buddha we worship is not an ordinary idol. He represents the ultimate perfection of both wisdom and virtue.

有了佛的智慧，事情就有可能转变， 因为万物的本体是空性的，空性让所有的东西都变成有可能性。
With enlightened wisdom, everything can be changed. This is because the nature of all phenomena is emptiness and emptiness allows boundless possibilities.
