慧看电影《我们诞生在中国》

这不是《动物世界》，也不是纪录片。

这是导演陆川带着100多位外国摄影师，选取中国最具代表性的珍稀动物，以春、夏、秋、冬四个季节为时间轴，历时三年拍摄的“动物大电影”——《我们诞生在中国》。

在这部伟大的生命轮回的交响乐中，每一个生命都是一个动人的节拍。

This is neither <<Animal World>>，nor a documentary film. 

With Director Lu Chuan leading more than a hundred foreign cinematographers, selecting the rarest animals which are most representative of China, and filming in a chronological manner  per the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter for three years, a “most significant movie on animals”--<<Born in China>> was accomplished.

Within this great symphony of Samsara, every life forms part of its touching beat.

影片选取了最能代表中国文化的几种动物作为主角——雪豹、藏羚羊、金丝猴、大熊猫和丹顶鹤。

《我们诞生在中国》讲述的是动物轮回的故事，这何尝又不是我们人类自己轮回的故事？

在达娃、淘淘和丫丫的身上，依稀可见多少生命的缩影？

影片最后，当达娃的身躯倒在冰雪之际，镜头中再次出现夕阳下绝美起飞的仙鹤，似乎预示着生命还有超越的期许。或许这才是影片最动人心魄的指月之手，与其为达娃无尽的轮回而扼腕，不若找出鲤跃龙门的秘钥！

This film selected a few species of animals which are most representative of China as its main leads – the snow leopard, the Tibetan antelope (Chiru), the golden snub-nosed monkey, the giant panda and the red-crowned crane. 

While <<Born in China>> depicts the story about the Samsara of animals, isn’t it also depicting our very own story, the Samsara of us humans?

From Dawa, Taotao & Yaya, can’t we see faintly the epitome of many lives?

The film concluded with Dawa collapsing onto the icy snow, followed by the scene of a beautiful crane again taking flight, against the backdrop of the evening sunset. It seems to suggest that life is more than just living. Perhaps, this is the most touching scene in the film which tells us the way out to nirvana: Rather than being sorrowful over the infinite Samsara of Dawa, one should strive to find the secrete key of surpassing one own self.

死亡只是一个标志，它会轮回往生。

每一天，每时每刻，我们的生命都不能重复。

我们还要思悟，思悟大熊猫一黑一白代表什么。“一阴一阳谓之道”，道是什么，什么是永恒？“体解大道，发无上心”。

Death is merely a sign; it does get reborn into Samsara.

We can never repeat the passing of each day, the passing of each & every moment in our lives.

We should think through, to think through and comprehend the underlying meaning beyond the black & white colour of the panda. “Yin & Yang predicate the Way,” what is this Way, what is eternity? It is “attaining enlightenment (Way of Bodhi), to give rise to the supreme Bodhicitta.”

在中国的神话故事中，当一个生命逝去，被称之为仙鹤的丹顶鹤，会承载着他的灵魂，重新开始生命的轮回。

时间推动着生命不断轮回，少年长大成人，成人不断老去，老者轮回往生。

死亡不是终点，它仅仅是生命循环往复的一个路标。

看着这一切，就在它们身上看到我们自己……

There is this fairy tale in China, saying that whenever a life is lost, the magical crane, known as the red-crowned crane, will ferry the soul across to begin the cycle of Samsara once again.

Time fuels the endless cycle of Samsara where the young grow into adults, adults continue to age, and the old-aged get reborn into the cycle of Samsara.

Death is not the final destination; it is merely the road sign in the repetitive cycle of life.

With all these in mind, what we see in the animals is just a reflection of our own selves………
