师父存在的价值|The Value of Master’s Existence

师父存在的价值就是带领大家明白每个人都有佛性，带领大家找到自己的无量光无量寿。生命有漏即苦，我们要用这个生命来追求无漏的佛性，这才是我们学佛的目的。

The value of Master’s existence lies in leading all toward the comprehension of Buddha-nature that exists in each and every one of us, leading all to the uncovering of our own infinite light and infinite life. A life with leakages (Asrava) is but suffering, we should use this life to pursue the Buddha-Nature which has no leakages (Anasrava), and such should be the motive of our practicing Buddhism. 

佛让大家回归正觉，平息贪嗔痴。善知识就像佛伸出的接引之手，为我们指明佛的方向，是我们和佛之间的桥梁，拉近我们与佛的距离，善知识善用百般方便带领众生离苦得乐，转凡成圣。

The Buddha brings us back to Sambodhi, putting out greed, hatred and ignorance. The Kalyāṇa-mitta (wise master) is liken to Buddha with an outstretched hand, pointing us toward the direction of the Buddha, acting as the bridge between us and the Buddha, bridging the gap between us and the Buddha, guiding sentient beings away from sufferings and toward happiness through skillful means, and transmuting us from a mortal into a saint.
