Today marks the anniversary of Bodhisattva Tsundri (Cundi). Learn the Tsundri Mantra with Master.
农历三月十六
恭迎准提菩萨圣诞
On the 16th day of the third lunar month, we welcome the descent of Bodhisattva Tsundri with reverence.
悟公上人
五十年代在普陀山闭关修准提法的时候，
整个本尊境显现出来了。
上人修准提法是得成就相的，
他的准提法是有加持的。
During the 1950s, when Grand Master Ven. Wu-gong went into seclusion to cultivate the Tsundri Practice on Mount Putuo, the Bodhisattva manifested in person.
Grand Master Ven. Wu-gong had perfected the cultivation of the Tsundri Practice, his Tsundri Practice bestows blessings.
我闭关三年多，
没事就在房间里念这个咒。
我是怎么会唱的？
就是在闭关的时候悟到了。
当坐下来在静中的时候，
人在空的状态里，
它显现了不空，
显现了佛的德，
准提咒的声音在这个无声之中而有声。
所以，念咒首先你要念到无声，
要达到无声，在无声里生有声这才是咒，
所以咒叫天咒，又叫真言、真正的语言。
During my three-year retreat, I would often recite this mantra during my free time in my room. How did I learn to sing it?
It was through a realization I had during the retreat.
When sitting in stillness,
when entering a state of emptiness,
what is not empty reveals itself,
the virtues of the Buddha manifest,
and the sound of the Tsundri Mantra emerges from this silence.
Therefore, when reciting a mantra, you must first recite until soundlessness is attained.
After soundlessness is attained, sound will emerge from within the soundlessness - that is a mantra.
Hence, mantra is known as the celestial mantra, also known as the true speech, the true language.

저는 3년 남짓한 동안 무문관 폐관을 하였는데, 여가가 있으면 기도실에서 이 진언을 외웠습니다. 제가 어떻게 부를 줄 알았는가 하면은 폐관할 때 깨달았습니다. 앉아서 입정에 들었을 때 텅 비는 상태에서 불공(不空)과 부처님의 덕(佛德)이 나타나며, 준제진언의 소리가 무성(無聲) 속에서 우렁차게 들렸습니다. 그러므로 진언을 외우려면 먼저 무성의 경지에 이르고, 무성(無聲)의 상태에서 유성(有聲)이 출현해야 주문입니다. 그래서 주문을 천주, 진언이라고도 하니, 이른바 진정한 언어입니다.
