【中英双语】念诵心经遣除违缘、福慧增上

为什么着重在《心经》这方面提醒大家？今天也是要着重念《心经》的。因为在即将来临的新的一年，我们以怎样的生命状态去面对？比如说我们坐在法堂里，还是蛮辛苦的，你怎么有动力从房间走到这里来？实际上在这里听听，有时候心只要一打开，佛光一照进去，就会觉得我有了一个克服寒冷的力量。我在寒冷的法堂里也找到了一种生命的充实，生命除了需要温度，实际上更需要真理之光。

Why are all of you reminded of the emphasis on Heart Sutra? Today’s emphasis is also on the recital of Heart Sutra. What state of life would be appropriate for us to usher in the new year? For instance, while it is quite tiring for us to sit in the Dharma Hall, what motivates you to walk from your room to here? In reality, as one is here listening with a heart that is opened on occasion, the light of Buddha will shine into the heart, and we will experience an energy that overcomes the chilliness. I have also discovered a satisfaction of life in this chilly Dharma Hall. Not only does life need warmth, in fact, it needs the light of truth more.

所以念《心经》，用般若空性的力量、佛的智慧，既是对二零二零年的一个好的总结，也是迎接二零二一年。在人间，不管是二零二零还是二零二一，都是人间的业力的构造。只要在人间，在这个地球上，我们生而为人，面对的还是人的业力。《心经》是佛的智慧，只有当用佛的智慧光明去照，去面对人的业力的现在和未来时，我们的生命才会变得无畏。就像穿着一双好鞋，你就不怕路不平了。

Thus, reciting the Heart Sutra with the strength of the Prajna’s nature of emptiness & the wisdom of the Buddha serves as the perfect conclusion to 2020, and the welcome of the year 2021. Regardless of 2020 or 2021, the chassis for everything in this mortal world is built on karmic strength. As long as we are born as a human onto this world, onto this earth, we will have to be subjected to the karmic strength of mankind. The Heart Sutra is the wisdom of the Buddha. It is only through the illumination of the Buddha’s light of wisdom that our lives become fearless in the face of the karmic strength of mankind that we are subjected to now and in future. It is just like one who is unafraid to tread the uneven path as one is wearing a good pair of shoes.

当有了佛的智慧，乃至蒙佛的智慧加被；当有了《心经》的智慧，或者蒙《心经》智慧的加持，我们就会觉得二零二一不会迷失，无论二零二一发生什么，我们都会有一个好的生命状态去面对。

When there is the wisdom of the Buddha, to the extent of being blessed by the wisdom of the Buddha; when there is the wisdom of the Heart Sutra, or the blessings that are bestowed by the wisdom of the Heart Sutra, we will not feel lost in 2021. Regardless of what will happen in 2021, we will face it with a great state of life.

我们是积极的、光明的，所以这个世界也依然是光明的。这世界对于不同的众生有不同的业力发生，有的人认为是不公的，有的人认为是幸运的。但如果有《心经》的智慧的加持，我们就会面对这个世界所有的幸运和不公。

We are positive and bright. Thus, the world remains bright. In this world, different karmic strength comes into play to different sentient beings. Some are of the view that this is unfair while some are of the view that this is good fortune. However, should there be the blessings of the wisdom of the Heart Sutra, we will remain unperturbed by the good fortunes and unfairness of this world.

作为佛弟子，我们要成为这世界的安定剂，祥和的、吉祥的调和力量。越是面对新旧交替，面对未知的未来，我们更需要有一种稳定的智慧去面对。

As a disciple of the Buddha, we should be the stabilizer of the world, the harmonious, amicable & auspicious energy. The more we stand at the intersections of the new & the old, a future that is unknown, the more we need a stable type of wisdom to face it.
