我们现在所贪恋的真实吗？

我们这个心，我们这个感受就随着这些因缘，随着外在的这些东西在变化，而这些现象是没有真实性的。既然没有真实性的，就要超越它，就像你抹桌子一样，知道那是垃圾，就毫不留情把它抹掉，让生命稳定下来，去寻求真实的。

Our mind and feelings are subject to changes alongside our external conditions and environment, which have no intrinsic reality. Knowing this, we should transcend fleeting phenomena with a firm resolve, in the same way you would wipe dirt from a table, and settle our mind in search of the ultimate truth.

娑婆世界的众生，生命里都是苦。我们放下一点，就放下了一点苦；放下十点，就放下了十点苦。现在放不下，是因为我们暂时还觉得那个不是苦，还在贪恋汽车、花园、洋房，贪恋公司。现在贪恋，哪天一死，所有最爱的，最贪恋的，反过头来变成我们的地狱。

Life in this world is full of suffering. When we let go of one thing, one part of suffering is relieved; when we let go of ten, ten parts of suffering are relieved. The reason why people cannot let go for one moment is because they still cannot recognise the suffering nature of what they are attached to – cars, gardens, houses, companies and so on. One day, when they die, their spirit will still be attached to things they are infatuated with. 

将来做孤魂野鬼，就是围绕着那些贪执的东西走的，但其实它们已经不存在了。虽然已经不存在了，但是心里制造的这个东西——外在的东西落在你心里的时候，就永远不会消失，对你就变成永恒的枷锁了。所以我们要修持空性。空性能超越一切，空性就像变魔术一样，把有当成没有的。

This is because these things have been engraved in their mind and will never wear away, forming shackles and fetters of the spirit. That’s why we need to practice emptiness, which can help us overcome everything. Emptiness is like magic that can transform something substantial into something void.
