Wholesailing a Basket of Joy
捕鱼的快乐是短暂的，
是建立在其他生命痛苦的基础上的，
而放生的快乐是可重复的，
是可预约的，
要想快乐就快乐。
The joy of fishing is fleeting, built on the suffering of other living beings. In contrast, the joy of releasing lives is repeatable and can be scheduled—you can be happy whenever you want.
放生的快乐就像批发快乐一样，
当一箩筐鱼放归大海时，
就有一箩筐的快乐。
The joy of releasing animals is akin to wholesaling happiness; when you release a basket of fish back into the sea, you gain a basket of joy.
生命获得快乐
就可以这么简单、这么便捷。
而且，这种快乐
可以供天、供地、供祖先，
供自己的过去和将来。
Finding joy in life can be this simple and convenient. Moreover, this joy can be offered to the heavens, the earth, our ancestors, and our past and future selves.
在这个世界上，
我们人从来都不是孤立存在的，
我们跟世界是一个多元、
多维度的存在，
我们跟其他生命之间
是相互依赖的。
学佛后，戒恶修善了，
那我们就跟其他生命
就建立了一个良好的互动。
We humans are never isolated beings on earth; we exist in a diverse, multidimensional world, interconnected with other forms of life. After studying Buddhism, we cease all bad deeds and practice kindness, hence establishing positive interactions with other living beings.
