有感则应 如月映千江
There are three misbehaviors while listening to the Dharma teachings.

我们能看到外面阳光的颜色,
是因为我们的眼根里就有这种色。
看到外在的阳光的色,
叫境色;
同时眼根里面也有一个色,
叫净色。
外面有七境色,
内在五根有五净色。
内在的色跟外面的色感应道交,
我们才可以看到。
内在的色跟外面的色感应道交,我们才可以看到。鬼是看不到阳光的,那鬼有没有眼根?有,但鬼的眼根里是没有这种净色的。比如,我们能把东西拿起来,因为这个东西的物理场跟我们手的物理场是相互感应的。但鬼是持不了物的,地上有根草,他也捡不起来,因为两个场是不感应的。
我们的眼根是看不到他的,他也没有办法作用到我们人类的世界来。但有时候他也很傲慢,他说,虽然我拿不动一根草,但是我可以动人的心。这句话我们有没有听到?所以我们要开智慧。你不开智慧,没有这个智慧的镜子,都不知道自己是人还是鬼啊,你以为你的念头是你动的?
佛陀跟魔之间也有这样的对答。魔的力量是不能破坏到佛的,佛陀成佛前魔王带着魔子魔民来攻击,佛陀就用了一个方法,入“大慈三昧”。一入大慈三昧,祂的力量、祂的生命全然的就是大慈。那魔呢,是伤害,但这种伤害的力量能伤害慈悲吗?伤害不了。所以就得出了这么一个公式性的话——慈悲没有敌人。
魔王不单伤害不了佛陀,甚至也没有办法伤害佛的弟子。因为在正法时代,弟子们跟佛不是做生意的,大家都是拿一颗赤诚的心追随着佛陀。以这样的缘故,佛陀的功德力会完全地映现在每一个弟子的身心世界里。
这个重要不重要?这很重要的。你如果怀疑师父,请问师父的功德还会不会映到你心里去?映不进去的。
我们常说“师父,请您给我加持”,
加持到底是什么?
加持是无表色法,
看不见摸不着,
但确实有实际的功用
只是有一点需要明白:
加持,加是师父的事,持是你的事,
求师父来加,持要你持,
你不持,师父的加等于零。
Blessing is non-manifestative matter which is invisible and untouchable, but it truly has practical function.
However the key point you should know is that in the meaning of blessing, which in Chinese is “jia chi”, while “jia”is the teacher's giving, it is your own effort to receive this blessing in the action of “chi”. When you pray for the blessing from the master, it is you yourself to receive and hold to it. If you do not receive it, then the “jia”of blessing from the master is nothing.
我们知道闻法中有三种过失:
如覆器,贡高我慢,碗底朝上;
如秽器,邪知邪见,脏垢充满;
如漏器,信心全无,碗底破漏。
There are three misbehaviors while listening to the Dharma teachings:
As an overturned vessel, holding arrogant conceit, with the bottom of the vessel up.
As a defiled vessel, holding wrong views and wrong knowledge, with dirt filled in the vessel.
As a leaky vessel, holding no faith, with a broken and leaky bottom of the vessel.
这样的人,佛菩萨也好,法师也好,还怎么再往里面加?
而有一些人,既有业障,身体也不好,但他已经觉悟,愿意三皈五戒,愿意断恶修善,乃至发愿自利的同时利益他人。
这时候他再祈求加持就简单了,因为他这个器物已经有“底”了。师父的加持一进去,也会觉得很厚实很有反弹力。
一个没有觉悟的人,他内心不单装着过去的业、现在的业,也连接着未来的业,法师再慈悲,加持力再大,面对这个无“底”的深渊也是无可奈何,力量投进去不会有丝毫的反应。
For a person who does not have the awareness, his mind not only contains the Karma from the past, but also the Karma of present, as well as connects to the Karma of the future.
所以佛也说,
你有漏,就要赶快地修!
你没有般若的空性智慧不要紧,
但不做坏事总可以吧?
“师父、师父给我加持”,你提出这个要求很正常,但你也得反过来想想,师父给你加持后,你回到世间是去干什么的?继续贪嗔痴慢,我执我见,妄想颠倒?师父将宝贵的生命力给了你,你还是用来沉沦,对你来说,这是不是更大的恶!
尤其是法会期间,师父几个小时下来已经很疲累,你还挤上前让师父加持,这贪心一开,你的业障就又出来了。
所以希望大家能够知道,有时候不是师父不关心你,师父的回避恰恰是为了更好地保护你。
像学佛学得好的弟子,很少会“求加持”,反而常生惭愧心,同时发勇猛心,修戒、修定,念经诵咒,回向师父,供养师父。
Those good Dharma practitioners seldom ask for blessings, instead a sense of compunction would often arises in their mind, at the meantime they would ignite the spirit of heroic determination, practice ethical discipline and concentration, recite scriptures and chant mantras, dedicate merits and make offerings to the master.
弟子功德增长,师父的力量也会增强。

作为弟子,大家的功德是跟师父有缘的,大家增长了,师父的力量也会增强,也就能更好地利益众生。从这个层面上讲,弟子精进,对师父也是一种加持。
作为师父来说,面对不同的信众,往往会扮演不同的角色。
对信心未起的,慈眉笑意,柔言软语;对已有信心的,不用大声,微笑即可;信心再大一点的,连微笑都不必,不说话,定定的,就是对他很大的加持;信心更大的,他从自己的信心中就得到了加持,不是我给他加持,以信心故,他在任何地方都会得到三宝的加持。对这样的大信心者,为了调教他,有时候甚至还会故意对他讲粗鲁的话,摆不好的脸色,去刺激他、警示他。
To those who do not have faith, the master usually is gentle and smiley with soft words and voices; to those who have the faith, there isn’t any need of voice, just a smile would be enough; to those who hold slightly stronger faith, there isn’t even a need of smile, just no talking, staying still, then it is already a huge blessing to them; to those who hold even stronger faith, they would already receive the blessing from their own faith, rather than the blessing the master gives to them. With the existence of faith, they would receive the blessing from the Three Jewels anywhere. To whoever hold such great faith, in order to teach and guide them, the master sometimes would intentionally speak to them in a rude way or make unpleasant expressions to stimulate them or give warnings
越是想要长久跟着师父的,别指望师父对你有多么好。师父的加持如细水长流,需要通过你修行、做事,细心地去祈祷和感受。
The longer you wish to follow a master, the less expectation you should hold to the master that he would treat you in a nice way. The blessing from the master is like a small but steady stream, it can only be carefully prayed to and felt with your practice and service.
你自己感受到的加持不要紧的,师父如果直接给你,你受不住就会变成副作用力。
师父的加持是无处不在的。像我自己,以前不管做什么,不管到哪里参学,都会跟师父汇报,请师父加持。
The blessing from the master is everywhere.
依止师父,就希望一切都在师父的心里。包括现在,师父的化身已经圆寂,但并不代表师徒关系已经结束,相反,我知道,每时每刻,师父的功德力都以更圆满的状态在鼓励着我、鞭策着我、加持着我。
To follow a master, I would hope that everything is in the heart of the master. Including now, although the emanation body of my master has passed away, this does not mean it is the end of the relationship between the teacher and the student. On the contrary, I can still feel that every moment and every second, the merits of my master are still encouraging me, urging me, and blessing me in a more perfect state.
我曾遇到的一些老师、一些师父,他就说,我在世的时候对你们的加持力还不是最大的,等我圆寂的时候加持力更大。一个善知识他强大的加持,就是有感则应,月映千江。但这个伟大的真理,我们也得知道才行啊。
佛陀的功德力是圆满的,佛陀的力量是周遍的。我们对佛陀有一分的虔诚,就消一分罪业,增一分福德;有十分就消十分罪业,增十分福德。但是魔又跟佛说了,他说现在你的徒弟对你挺信任,都追随你,等到以后的人,他被时空障碍了,就看不到你圆满的功德了,他就会从历史的角度来看你,认为你已经死了几千年了。
历史的车轮对佛陀是没有障碍的,但是当我们凡人不懂的时候,我们对佛陀的信心就开始减少,信心越减少,我们心中的阴影就越来越多。阴影多的时候怎么样?魔就能够潜入了呀。就像鬼讲的一样,他说我虽然没有能力拿起那根草,但是我有能力改变人心。
我们众生本来就有烦恼魔、五蕴魔、生死魔,我们的业报身整个就是一个魔的属性的生命。所以佛陀来到娑婆世界弘扬佛法,要把祂的智慧和慈悲照进这个魔王的宫殿,照进我们错误的见地里,让我们生出智慧来,这真的犹如入虎穴一般啊。所以我们要很珍爱,很珍惜。
The Buddha gives the teachings of Dharma in this Saha World in order to shine his light of wisdom and compassion into the Palace of the Demon and into our mistaken views, so that wisdom would grow in our mind. This is just like entering the tiger’s den, so we really should cherish and value it.
