唐代诗僧寒山是一个被历史长期遗忘的名字。
Hanshan, a name long forgotten in history, was a poetic monk from the Tang Dynasty.
这位隐逸在中国天台山寒岩的杰出诗人，一生留下三百零七首诗作。
This outstanding poet who lived in seclusion in Tian Tai Mountain, China had penned a total of three hundred and seven poems during his lifetime.
然而，寒山其人，却长期为世人所冷落。
Yet, this person, Hanshan, was long neglected by people in the world.
一瞬千年，转眼二十世纪，
In the twinkling of an eye, twenty centuries had passed.
寒山诗大兴于欧美和日本等国，
The poetries of Hanshan are widely eulogized in continents like Europe, America & Japan etc.
美国的嬉皮士运动甚至将他封为祖师爷，
The Hippie movement in America even regarded him as the Grand Master.
寒山诗歌在世界范围内掀起了一股名叫“寒山诗热”的文化风波…
The poetries of Hanshan stirred up a cultural storm known as "Hanshan poetries mania" in the world.
然而，由于文化的差异，寒山诗虽然被广泛接纳，但是解读始终存在偏差。
Nevertheless, while Hanshan's poetries are widely received, due to cultural differences, its interpretations are not accurate.
“多少天台人，不识寒山子。”
"Many of the people in Tian Tai do not know Hanshan".
