我在此等待,

I am right here, awaiting,

那万劫轮回苦海的游子。。。

the return of my wandering children lost in the sea of Samsara for endless kalpa. . . ...

如果你能意识到,

If you have such a realization,

不管走到哪里,

no matter where you go,

你穿着这衣服,

the clothes you wear,

你吃着这个饭,

the food you eat,

做着这个功课,

the lessons you practice,

你所在的这个僧团都是来自于佛陀的。

and the monastic community you are in,

have all come from the Buddha.

你有这种感恩的时候,

When you have this sense of gratitude,

你一定超越这个物理空间。

you will definitely transcend this physical space.

这不仅仅不是障碍,

This not only ceases to be an obstacle,

甚至是一种成就,

it even becomes an accomplishment,

精神上的成就。

a spiritual achievement.





有时候当我们在物理空间上不能常常靠得很近时,恰恰是对自己精神世界的一种考验。

During times when physical proximity is not possible for us, it just becomes a test of our spiritual fortitude.


这个时候,你能意识到你吃的饭、做的功课、你所在的僧团都是来自于佛陀,来自于祖师大德的苦苦坚守,你能生出感恩,那这个物理空间对你来说不仅不是障碍,反而是一种精神上的成就。

At such times, when you recognize that the food you eat, the tasks you perform, and the monastic community you belong to have all come from the Buddha and the unwavering dedication of the great masters, and this recognition fosters gratitude within you, not only is physical distance not an obstacle, it becomes a spiritual accomplishment instead.


所以希望我们每一个人都能成为戒定慧庄严的人,成为能调伏自己烦恼的人。

Therefore, I hope for each of us to be adorned with precepts, samadhi, and wisdom, and become individuals capable of overcoming our own afflictions.


什么是道场?当你自己就是道场的时候,你走到天下任何一个地方都是道场。不是盖一个房子、塑一尊佛像就是庙,你能调伏自己,能受用佛法,那你无论到哪里都可以变成道场。所以我们不缺道场。自古以来祖师也讲,我们缺的是道的调御。

What is a place of practice? When you embody the place of practice yourself, anywhere you go becomes a place of practice. Simply constructing a building or placing a Buddha statue does not create a monastery; what truly matters is the ability to tame oneself and benefit from the Dharma, turning any location into a place of practice. Therefore, we are not lacking in places of practice. As the ancestral masters have taught throughout history, what we lack is the mastery of the Way.


我们这个道场,无论是出家师父还是在家菩萨,都还是很努力的。从理性上来说的话,你看我们闻思修,最终哪怕讲一切法本性是空性,也是要由它的因缘才能证明它是空性。这个因缘的缜密性、因缘的逻辑性、因缘的因明关系还是需要的。

In our place of practice, whether among monastics or lay practitioners, everyone is very diligent. From a rational perspective, look at our hearing, contemplation, and practice, even though we affirm that all phenomena are inherently empty, their emptiness is demonstrated through their causes and conditions. Thus, the meticulousness, logic, and interdependence of these causes and conditions remain essential.


所以我们自始至终都要护着自己的心,把一切对境观想成来自三宝的考验。

Therefore, we must always guard our minds and view all circumstances as tests from the Triple Gem.


实际上真正的净土法门就是这样:视一切有情皆是阿弥陀佛化现,一切的物质环境都是阿弥陀佛的光明。修净土,就是修清净的信心。这个信心不只是对阿弥陀佛有信心,而是对所遭遇的一切都产生这样的信心,都看作是阿弥陀佛为了调御我,来为我说法的。

In truth, the essence of Pure Land practice is to see all sentient beings as manifestations of Amitabha Buddha and all material environments as the light of Amitabha Buddha. Practicing Pure Land involves cultivating pure faith—not only in Amitabha Buddha but also in everything one encounters, perceiving everything as Amitabha Buddha expounding the dharma for the sake of taming me.  


当你把一切都观想为是阿弥陀佛在为你演说妙法的时候,以这样的信心,那你绝对是会受极大的利益的。

When you regard everything as Amitabha Buddha expounding the wondrous Dharma for you, with such faith, you will undoubtedly receive immense benefits.


如果你的心灵如法的话,一切安排,都会令你受益。人生是很苦短的,我们在资粮道上接受更多的考验,积累更多的资粮,保持正念,这对我们修行是很好的。讲到底了,最后成就“福慧两足尊”,靠的就是积累的资粮。

If your mind is aligned with the Dharma, all circumstances will benefit you. Life is short and filled with suffering. On the path of accumulating merit and wisdom, enduring more tests and gathering more provisions while maintaining right mindfulness is beneficial for our practice. Ultimately, attainment of being 'One with Complete Merit and Wisdom' relies on the accumulation of these provisions.


去西方,是靠你内在的精神世界的资粮。如果我们没有脚踏实地积累厚重的资粮,你自己也不容易去,你也帮助不了别人。

Reaching the Western Pure Land depends on the provisions of your inner spiritual world. Without diligent accumulation of substantial provisions, it will be challenging for you to reach there or to assist others.


所以无论我们到哪里,都要把它变成难得的修行,把它都转化到精神世界去,转化成为我们福慧的两种资粮。

Therefore, no matter where we go, we should transform every situation into a valuable opportunity for practice, transporting it into the spiritual world, transforming it into the two provisions necessary for our accumulation of both merit and wisdom.
