Essendo un discepolo del Buddha, dovremmo almeno avere il cuore della rinuncia. Poiché il Samsara non è altro che sofferenza, la gioia prodotta nel Samsara è Asrava. Quindi, la gioia in questo mondo è definita come viparinama-dukkha (sofferenze causate dal cambiamento), cambierà e, dopo tutto, la sua natura è ancora sofferenza.

Being a disciple of the Buddha, we should at the very least, have the heart of renunciation. Because Samsara is nothing but sufferings, the joy produced within Samsara is Asrava. Hence, the joy in this world is termed as viparinama-dukkha (sufferings brought about by change), it will mutate and after all, its nature is still sufferings.

我们作为佛弟子，最基本的是要有出离心。因为轮回是苦的，轮回当中产生的乐是有漏的。所以世间的乐也叫坏苦，它会变异，它的本性还是苦。

Precept means the wondrous use of the Buddha’s body. It does not matter who the person taking the precepts is; the Buddha’s precept taken shall all be the same. To take the precepts of Buddha is to make a connection with the Buddha. Each reply of “I can uphold” is each connection made.

All sentient beings, existing in the infinite space and time of this universe, can be connected to our hearts here and now, must have been our parents in past lives. There is no doubt about it. Therefore, on behalf of all motherly beings in the Dharma realm, we should repent karmas with sincere remorse to the Three Jewels.

在发露忏悔的时候，诸佛菩萨的功德力如果能照彻他的身心，那他一定是离苦得乐的。因为作为诸佛菩萨来说，只要跟祂直接有缘的，祂肯定度掉了，不需要等我们的。

When one makes confessions and repentances, if his body and mind can be enlightened by the power and merits of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, he must be emerging from suffering and attaining happiness. This is because the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will definitely and directly liberate all beings who have affinity with them. There is no need to wait for us.

那我们呢，是度与我们有缘的法界一切如母有情。现在我们出头了，做佛子了，就可以成为桥梁，让我们生生世世轮回的妈妈们，得到解脱。

Then what about us? We need to help all motherly beings in the Dharma realm who have affinity with us to achieve liberation. Now we finally made it and have been Buddha’s disciples, we can help to take across motherly beings who have been wandering in endless cycle of life and death by acting as a bridge.
