有修行的人，痛苦都会消业障，逆缘都会增上道

他如果人生没有正确的方向，

他任何一个福报都会百千万倍的变成痛苦，

加予他自身的。

If a person does not have the right direction in life,

Any blessing he has will turn into afflictions a hundred thousand times over, 

adding to his suffering.

那有修行的呢？

有信仰的人呢，

痛苦都会消业障，逆缘都会增上道。

What about practice then? 

For those with faith, 

karmic obstacles are annihilated even in afflictions, and adverse conditions bring progression.

别人若骂我，消无量罪障。

If others scold me, infinite sins and obstacles are annihilated.

你看，这倒好，你的漂亮就是被别人骂出来。

See, this is beneficial—your beauty comes from being scolded by others.

所以我现在观察，这个人长得挺端正，

那脾气挺很肯定很好啊，肯定

很会忍辱，

因为庄严是忍辱之果啊。

So now, when I observe, if a person looks quite dignified, their temperament must be very good, they must be very tolerant, because dignity is the fruit of tolerance.

布施的人一定是有福的，知足的人一定是快乐的。

我们对这些定律式的佛经，

就经典那种定律式牢记在心，作为我们人生的标杆。

A person who gives is certainly blessed, and a person who is content is certainly happy. We should keep these immutable truths from the Buddhist scriptures firmly in our hearts, setting them as the benchmarks of our lives.
