我们这个金刚宝戒,不仅仅要成为自己的金刚宝戒,也成为三宝住世的金刚地基,也成为善知识住世的金刚胜缘。
Our vajra precepts are not only intended to be our own vajra precepts but also serve as the vajra cornerstone for the existence of the Triple Gem in the world, and as the auspicious vajra condition for virtuous teachers of Dharma to live long in this world.
所以,当你们希望正法久住,希望善知识长住的时候,那你们就要往内看,你看你的菩提心在不在。如果菩提心不在,就是佛入涅槃了。
Therefore, if you wish for the True Dharma to endure in this world and for virtuous teachers to have longevity in this world, you must look inwards and see if your Bodhicitta is present or not. Without Bodhicitta, it is as though the Buddha has entered Nirvana.
所以,舍戒即舍佛啊,你不见佛了,佛在,对你来说也没有用的,所以持戒就是佛同在。
Hence, to abandon the precepts is to abandon the Buddha—if you cannot perceive the Buddha, the Buddha’s presence then holds no meaning for you. Thus, upholding the precepts is synonymous with being in the Buddha's presence.
你持着戒你的这个智慧也有,念佛念法念僧,这个四不坏信,具足这种状态,那就是佛也在,法也在,僧也在,戒也在,三宝也在,善知识也在。
By upholding the precepts, you gain wisdom and develop unwavering faith in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha—the Four Unshakable Faiths. When you embody this state, it means that the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, and precepts are all present, along with the Three Jewels, the virtuous teachers of Dharma are present, too.
以这个你供养三宝,那就是正法住世,你这个供养善知识,就是善知识久住人间,你就是善知识久住人间的基础、基石。
With this as offering to the Triple Gem, you ensure the longevity of the True Dharma in this world. Similarly, in offering to virtuous teachers of the Dharma, you become the very foundation and cornerstone of their long life in this world.
