想做好事情会有障碍，怎么对治？

师父您好！我想问师父，如果是发心做一件事的话，就会有很多的那些违缘出现；如果不发心的话，那一切都会平静的，没有任何的违缘的出现。有时候我会在想就是说，既然是这样的话，那就不发心好了。

Venerable Master, I seek your guidance. I have observed that whenever I resolve to undertake a virtuous deed, many obstacles arise. However, if I make no such resolution, everything remains peaceful, and no hindrances appear. At times, I wonder — if this is the case, would it not be better to simply refrain from making such aspirations altogether?

你觉得你有这个现象，是好事还是不好事啊？你想发心做好事，就有障碍就有违缘，这个是好事吗？这个信息让你明白什么？

Do you consider this phenomenon to be a good thing or a bad thing? You wish to cultivate a pure intention and act virtuously, yet obstacles arise — do you see this as beneficial? What insight does this give you?

我就是不是很明白，为什么每次发心就有这样的违缘出现。

 I do not quite understand. Why is it that every time I set my heart on doing good, such hindrances appear?

对这个现象，我跟你解释一下。比如说一个人如果被绑架了之后，他要寻求逃离的话，他要拿手机打电话的时候，或者要喊话的时候，别人会不会制止他？我们现在在这个三界当中，就是在魔的手掌里面，你想逃掉的话，马上就会给你颜色看。你不想逃，安安静静做魔子魔孙，就一切都很好，都让你很舒服。那我顺顺当当就可以了，只不过生死轮回的路上，你还是逃不掉的，你还想解脱生死的话，就会有障碍。

Allow me to explain. Imagine a person who has been kidnapped. If he tries to escape, if he attempts to call for help, will his captors not immediately suppress him? Likewise, in this world, we are all trapped within the Three Realms, caught within the grasp of delusions and attachments. The moment you attempt to break free, to walk the path of liberation, resistance immediately arises. But if you choose not to escape — if you remain still, conforming to the ways of ignorance and attachment—everything seems peaceful, everything seems comfortable. Yet, this comfort is an illusion, for the path of birth and death still binds you. Whether you resist or not, you cannot escape the endless cycle of samsara. If you truly seek liberation, you must be prepared for obstacles.

这样的话，我们用什么样的心态来对治呢？

In that case, what mindset should we cultivate in order to overcome such difficulties?

所以佛在讲那个《无量寿经》的时候说，如果我们明白道理了之后，哪怕纵使三千大千世界满中大火，我们也应该克服这个困难冲过去，去追求极乐世界，这样勇敢的精神。

This is why, in the Infinite Life Sutra (Wúliàng shòu jīng 无量寿经), the Buddha teaches that once we have awakened to this truth, even if the Great Thousandfold Worlds were engulfed in raging flames, we must have the courage to press forward — overcoming all obstacles in pursuit of the Pure Land. Such is the fearless resolve we must cultivate.

有时候觉得佛法是蛮深奥的。

Sometimes, I find the Dharma to be profoundly intricate.

是，佛法蛮深奥。我刚才讲的道理很简单。如果一个人被绑架了之后，肯定想跑的话，别人是会制止他的，不让他跑。他（绑架者）的目的还没有达到，怎么可以让他跑掉呢？我们都是被绑架的三界当中的苦难众生。

Indeed, the Dharma is vast and profound. Yet, the principle I have just shared is simple. If a person is kidnapped, their natural instinct is to escape, yet the captors will not allow it. The kidnapper’s purpose has not yet been fulfilled — how could they simply let the person go? We are all beings trapped in suffering within the Three Realms, held captive by our afflictions and illusions.

我们应该以什么样的形式来继续呢？

How then should we proceed on this path?

就是，如果你已经得到这样的启示，比如说你已经感觉到，你要想做好事就会有障碍，那你就更应该做好事，下定决心要做好事。要戒恶修善，要摆脱那些邪恶势力的控制，这个才可以，我们才有希望，得救的希望。

If you have already come to this realisation — if you have discerned that whenever you seek to do good, obstacles arise — then you must be all the more resolute to persevere. Strengthen your determination to cultivate virtue, uphold moral discipline, and break free from the control of negative forces. Only then can we nurture true hope — only then can we find ultimate liberation.
